Travelled from Fairview NJ to Linden just to try some good soul food and it was definitely worth the 40min trip. Food was delicious and great amount provided. Would highly recommend!

Food was good, fried fried well and crab cake was delicious. cabbage was good yams good just a little too seeet for me.

The food was good and the portions were very large enjoyed myself a lot and it wasn't really expensive I will definitely be going back the staff was also very nice and helpful.

Beautiful surroundings, food is tasty and reasonably priced for the quantity. Pleasant place to have a good soulful meal.

I thought the waitress was getting ready for bed. Attire not appropriate for wait staff, she didn’t smile at all. Mac n Cheese was cold and old, fried okra and Shrimp was good, fried whiting was fried too hard. We swatted flies for the entire 1.5hrs. All meal items came out separately, weird. I’ll give the food 2.5 atmosphere 1.0. We won’t be back .
