From Our Editors
When it comes to why their clients want to have tattoos removed, the technicians at D-Inked have heard everything from “wrong name” to “new job.” Regardless of a patron’s motivation, they use only one tool to remove tattoos: the FDA-approved Astanza Trinity laser, which shines in multiple hues to break down an array of ink colors. The number of treatments necessary to completely oust old ink varies based on factors such as the tattoo’s color and how old it is, because newer ones can run away from lasers faster. Most clients need six to eight sessions. As for pain, most say that it feels like a rubber band snapping the skin, a level of discomfort comparable to getting a tattoo.
