Nice, casual atmosphere. It's right on the water on Capitola Beach & you can request an outside table, where there are heat lamps. Friendly waitstaff.

We waited 20 minutes which isn't bad for any restaurant without a reservation. Yes, the service is a bit slow once we got sitted. But the food was excellent. I used the groupon and after reading so many negative reviews I wasn't hopeful. I bought the 4 meals and 4 drinks. 3 of us had the Tom Toms Margarita and 1 the house, all excellent. We asked how the groupon worked what we could order. On the groupon it says you can't order the Fajitas. You just pay extra over the amount if it goes over $86.00. So we order the Sizzling Hot Fajitas, Surf & Turf, Pesto Pasta, and Steak Gorgonzola Fettuccine. The food was awesome.

Nice seating outside. Nice live music. They had a band inside even on a Wednesday night. Specialty margaritas are great! Friendly service.

Should have some of your great old menu items, like Chili Colorado, at least as specials

I had the baby back ribs. They were o.k. but nothing special. My husband had the Tri-Tip sandwich, why in the world would you ruin good Tri-Tip by putting bacon on it? The Margarita's were very good. Service was good. The food was average at best.

From Our Editors

After a day of playing beach volleyball and paddleboarding, beachgoers can head to Margaritaville for a bite to eat and a cool drink. The oceanside patio is the perfect place to nibble on bacon-wrapped prawns, Baja burgers, and slow-cooked tri-tip sandwiches while watching the sun set over California’s first seaside resort town and listening to live music.

Casual coastal cuisine pairs well with Margaritaville's extensive collection of tequilas, organic margaritas, and mai tais. Or there's always the breakfast bloody mary made with a quarter pound of vodka, an assortment of garnishes, and leafy celery stalks.
