About this Business
Though Brooklyn isn't known for its mountainous landscape, the Queensbridge outpost of Brooklyn Boulders gives rock climbers a respite from the concrete jungle with more than 25,000 square feet of space. Here, the skilled staffers help students build a strong climbing foundation in group classes, teaching them top-roping, bouldering, and belaying techniques as they maneuver along both the X and Y axes. The location's proximity to eight subway lines also allows for easy access, leaving plenty of energy to spare for the climbs.
The instructors also host yoga classes and personal-training sessions to keep students in shape. The fitness program combines mental and physical aspects to work on not only building fit bodies but sound minds. The space offers group outings in their event space for community outings, birthday parties, and much more.
