A Dog’s Life Rescue was born out of a great love for animals. Co-founders Julia Pennington and Allison Lange lead an all-volunteer team dedicated to rescuing abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs and other animals. The volunteers predominantly serve as street rescuers: whenever they get a call about an injured dog stuck in busy freeway traffic, they stop whatever they're doing to help rescue it. The organization relies on a network of fosters to shelter, care for, and rehabilitate pups while they await placement in permanent loving homes. A Dog’s Life Rescue holds adoption events three times per month, and also helps educate low-income communities on the importance of spaying or neutering pets.
