Scenic city parks and equipment-laden gyms set the stage for Body Boxing Bootcamp’s fitness classes, which aim to strengthen bodies from shoulders to ankles. The gym’s three types of boot-camp classes, Boogie Boxing, Booty Boxing, and Body Boxing, are led by one of three experienced instructors, each of whom uses skills learned from years of personal training, judo, kickboxing, yoga, qi gong, and numerous hours watching Rocky training montages. Boot-camp sessions combine calorie-burning professional-boxing workouts with a trio of fitness systems and surprise grizzly-bear wrestling matches to promote agility and strength. Each session can burn up to 1,000 calories, increase core strength, tone muscles, and stimulate the metabolism, along with boosting self-confidence.
