When Gus and Jimmy Shamieh founded the first CREAM shop in Berkeley, they wanted to recreate the delicious treats of their childhood. Their plan? Sandwiching rich, flavorful ice cream into the waiting embrace of two freshly baked cookies.
Clearly, their strategy paid off: Today, hungry patrons across California, Nevada, and Florida line up for their desserts. Their specialties now include:
- Do'sant sandwich: a donut-croissant hybrid ice-cream sandwich made with fried and glazed pastry dough
- Cookie ice cream sandwiches handcrafted with warm, fresh-baked cookies
- Specialty ice cream flavors including peanut butter, coconut, rocky road, green tea, and salted caramel
- Traditional cones, sundaes, and milkshakes
