The guide was very knowledgeable and we had a really good time. The food was good, I just wish there were more food tastings available.
I was so thrilled with this tour company! Carmen, the owner or director of the company was more than accommodating in every way possible. She went out of her way from the very beginning when I accidentally booked a walking tour instead of a food tour. She helped me get it all straightened out and I invited 2 more friends to go along. When it was time for our tour we were late because of the LA traffic. We left in plenty of time but we were still late. We missed our reserved time of our tour and called and Carmen accommodated Us by getting another tour guide to step in and tour us just like we were on our own private tour. We were so thrilled with Chris our tour guide and all the accommodations this company did for us!!!! I would highly recommend them! Thank you! Chris was so intelligent and so respectful and fun in every way!!
Phenomenal experience! We did the walking Food Tour with Chris- he was extremely knowledgeable, not just about the food and restaurants but about the history and even architecture of the city. We initially met Carmen at the Arcade, very easy to find and a beautiful venue to start the tour. Carmen gave us the rundown on some of the best places to see, eat and drink in the city. On the tour, Chris took the time for multiple "side stops" in between restaurants (perfect timing in between each meal) to show us some unexpected gems, such as the Last Bookstore, the Grandma Mason memorial, and the Bradbury Building. And, of course, THE FOOD. The food was absolutely delicious, the restaurants were extremely well-chosen for both quality and variety. The portions at each place were great. Caveat- if you are gluten or dairy free, let the tour company know ahead of time. Overall, highly recommend this tour. Thank you Chris!
