They recently moved to a new location, which is more of a "to go" place but with a really ugly seating area. NO AIR CONDITIONING!! The guy who was in charge was a hot head who didn't want to accept the coupon. He then tried to overcharge us and then stormed off when I questioned him about it. It was an oven in the "restaurant". Don't buy this!

The taste is the personification of the word 'meh'! It's oooo kayyyy, well I'd give them that maybe it was homemade and very simple... Maybe that's why bland. The servings were only generous on the gravy/soup side. Lamb vindaloo barely had any lamb n literally 2 very small pieces of potatoes. Tikka masala's curry base was good, very tangy though n i asked for spicy and it had no heat.

LOVE this restaurant!! They are always amazing and consistent. Their naan is the best naan ever! Same for samosas!! And tikka...the list goes on. The service is always prompt and very nice. I hope they never leave!!!

The samosas were excellent, and they have a great deal on glasses of wine for $5. The channa masala was delicious. The only criticism I have is the attitude of our server when I told her I had a Groupon. She was very courteous up to that point, but then became surly. My companion noticed it too. We tipped on the pre-discount bill (as I always do), but I won't go back after this experience, which is a shame. Up until then I was ready to leave with a smile on my face thanks to a very good meal. I didn't because the last part of my experience wasn't pleasant.

Didn't realize this was a place we'd been to years ago. I think we had a discount of some sort. Anyway, we don't do the west side that often, but glad we came back. Good food, good portions, good price. When we will be on the west side, we'll be back!

The food was not that good. I ordered tandoori medley and they grilled it too much. The mango lassi was really bad. It tasted sour rather than sweet. And worst thing is the restroom. It looks like one of those overused and unhygienic public toilets.

AVOID Worst restaurant in LA...if you have a groupon you will be looked down upon and badly serviced...food was stale and when it was bought to the notice restaurant owner said that food entree was eaten half.I haven't seen in any restaurant that owner is asking that ordered vegetable dish is Eaten half and cannot be replaced for fresh food.worst service worst stale Indian food you could ever eat

From Our Editors

East India Grill’s talented chefs invoke the diverse culinary traditions of South Asia with mouthwatering feasts of Punjabi and Indian cuisine. Curries infused with exotic spices entrance taste buds and catch eyes with their sunny yellows, vibrant reds, and lush, vivid greens. Tandoori chicken nearly falls off the bone as it emerges from a clay oven. Sauce-draped veggies, mango-slathered ribs, and ginger-crusted lamb arrive on tables draped in elegant, saffron-colored cloths. On warm days, diners soak up rays on a sunlit patio framed with waving plants and electrified fences to keep the tigers prowling nearby at bay.
