Its wonderful and full of knowledge though you wont get any input on direction skill stuff just focus on production but worth going for full two day with Dov😊😊

I'd recommend buying Dov's book on Amazon ($15 or so, he'll sell you the same book at his event for $25) and spending a weekend reading it instead of attending this workshop. The venue was dark and not a great space to interact. Not enough Q&A interaction. We spent too much time going over a fictitious project's budget and it wasn't a good use of my time or money. Honestly, I'd give the same review if it were free. Again, buy/read his book, put your money toward an actual short film to gain experience. Take an filmmaking/production class at a community college or UCLA Extension instead (realize that is more expensive but a better use of funds, in my humble opinion). In filmmaking, you're only as good as your last project. Write it (or co-write it), copyright it at the Library of Congress (more so than the WGA), cast, schedule, budget, raise funds via crowdfunding and friends and family, film it, edit it, send it off to film festivals, analyze what you did right/wrong, learn from mistakes, do it all over again with longer script/bigger budget until you're ready to shoot a feature film. Good luck!
