After makeovers, it's common to see clients donning eyelash extensions that come in one long strip. These lashes look unnatural not only because they are stiff and clumped together, but also because they aren't customized to the wearer.
Sweetpea Lash Cottage's lash technician Bylle Breaux goes to great lengths to ensure her client's extensions look real, doing everything from individually applying lashes to relying on her background as a makeup artist and cosmetologist to match lash curl and length to the client's face shape. Plus, she uses mink, faux-mink, and silk lashes, all known to be soft and lightweight. Bylle attaches the extensions to the lash line using a medical-grade, formaldehyde-free adhesive that keeps lashes looking fresh for up to six weeks or until the wearer gets a little too impatient to wait to eat their flaming saganaki.
