I purchased this back in May. It was for the month of May. We had a grandchild born, a sick child, and a lot of things pile up that month. It was expired. My husband and I have a date night scheduled every Tuesday night. Last night we took this expired Groupon (originally for 4 seats) to the ticket office. The clerk offered us 2 premium seats or 3 standard seats. We only needed 2. These were the best seats we have every had at a Bats game. Great Date NIght even though the Bats lost! It is good to know that even though my Groupon was expired, it was still worth something. I hated to waste the money spent on this Groupon. Thank you Bats, for honoring this purchase.

Use to have season tickets when stadium first opened and my 5 children were young and always had a wonderful time. When they become home to visit we stop in for a game or two.

From Our Editors

Baseball in Louisville dates back to 1876 when the Louisville Grays began playing as part of the National League. Soon after the turn of the 20th century, minor league baseball arrived in Derby City and for 70 years, the Louisville Colonels commanded it. Their departure in 1972, however, led to a period of inactivity, as well as a period of unemployed umpires roaming the city shouting "SAFE!" at landing birds. Ten years later, baseball returned with the arrival of the Louisville Redbirds, who eventually became the RiverBats in 1998, and simply the Bats in 2002. Over the years this franchise has spent time as the affiliate of three big league teams: the St. Louis Cardinals, the Milwaukee Brewers, and its current affiliate, the Cincinnati Reds.
