A steak sizzles on a hibachi grill. As the meat browns, the chef drizzles on homemade teriyaki sauce and a handful of fresh onion, mushrooms, and zucchini. Soon they begin to heat up and pop, joining the chorus of sounds and the aromas filling the air. The recently renovated restaurant strives to create just such engaging experiences with all its food, whether diners sit before a hibachi grill or order attractive and expertly wrapped sushi rolls. At lunch, the staff serves smaller versions of the eatery's well-composed dinner entrees to help diners complete a quick getaway from work or from a heist just down the block.
