Be forewarned. Owner, Jenna, requires that you book services through her online site and, use a credit card to reserve your appt. As a result, unknown to you, you will be charged a $20 tip for a $29 Groupon service. Her rationale is that her staff don't make money off a Groupon, so they have to get paid somehow. My opinion is that it shouldn't be the customer's problem how her staff get paid - she signed up for Groupon and agreed to their rates. She also said that $20 was 20% of the full priced massage. Per Groupon, the full price of the massage was $69, so less than a $14 tip at 20%. I tried to reason with the owner, to no avail. The salon is in process of being renovated and is cold and dark. It is in a less than desirable neighborhood. This is at the National Turnpike address - the Groupon is for the Dixie Hwy address. They changed the location of my massage the day prior to appt. She said via voicemail it was due to traffic accidents at the Dixie location. At my visit, she said it was due to a stabbing being near the other location and drug addicts hanging around location. I could not reach her the day of appt (and other times) as she doesn't answer her phone and the voicemail is full. I did not get the massage I paid for - I got some exfoliating massage that, at times, was painful and irritating to my skin. Not relaxing at all. Because Jenna was so rude and inappropriate to me when I arrived (she grabbed my hand and started pulling me down a darkened hallway and said, "I have something to show you, baby." When I jerked back my hand in surprise, she told me I was kicked out of her spa!!! I think she realized she was going to lose money by kicking me out as I said I wanted to be reimbursed my Groupon fee and my daughter's (whom I purchased a gift massage for, so she calmed down and invited me back into the spa), she said she'd give me a steam barrel treatment at the end of my massage. It was putting my feet into a barrel with a steam scent machine blowing on my feet. Nothing special. When I noticed my bank account had been debited $20 for a tip, I complained. Aside from the other stuff she said, she also said that she gave me a 20 minute steam barrel worth $65 (oh, goodness, it was nothing even close to being worth $65) and a Golden Ticket (I have no idea what that even was), so I should be happy to pay the $20. Again, not happy - willing to pay $6 for 20% on the $29 Groupon, or even $14 for the full price of $65, but not $20!!! She wouldn't go for it and even threatened to file charges against me because her "attorney" said I wasn't paying for a service rendered. I did pay for the service, via the Groupon, I was disputing the tip, which she already has from my bank. I have never, ever complained on line about a company, so this is a first, and you know it must be bad if I'm complaining. I have complained to Groupon, who agreed to credit me Groupon $$ for the massage, which was very nice of them. I have used Groupon many times and have been happy with my purchases. Not with this one!!!
