The guides there were friendly, informative and patient . We were behind schedule on getting there early for the usual paperwork, but that didn't hamper anything. Horses were great, views fantastic. Would go again. Thanks.

If you're headed to the Rockies this horseback ride is HIGHLY recommended! It was amazing to ride through the mountains and see elk and wild turkeys along the way!!! It's a must!!!

We had 2 guides- one who was in training, and the trainer. The trainee was very sweet and personable, the trainer seemed angry and unhappy to be there. We booked a 1 hour ride and the whole thing felt rushed. As soon as we signed in we were put on horses, no introduction, no chance to take a quick picture with the horses, *and* I got yelled at because I didn't get on the ramp the right way after I followed the person I was told to follow. We were told to keep our horses in line, we did the trail ride pretty much nose-to-tail, got back to the stables, dismounted, and were sent home. We had no opportunity to take pictures and were repeatedly told that "there's no time for that" even though we arrived back at the stable 15 minutes early. The trainer barked orders at us and the trainee ("you need to loosen up on her! No! Don't let her wander! Tighten up now and keep her in line!" "No, we can't take pictures, there's no time for that!" "No, you can't take a picture here either, the horses get restless!" "Don't go on the upper trail!" etc.) and it really made what should've been a fun ride feel a lot less fun. I booked this ride for my birthday because I enjoy seeing the mountains from horseback and thought it would be a great way to kick off our trip to Estes. I'm not sure what happened since last time they ran a groupon and got all those great reviews, but I was pretty disappointed.

The services were mis-represented on their website. We only booked with them because their website stated they would consider allowing 5 year olds to double ride. Not only did they not even consider it, the receptionist would not even let me discuss it with her. She simply told me it was not an option for any reason (before even seeing my daughter who is very small). When we arrived, I explained my daughter was afraid to ride alone as it was her first time. The receptionist told me she WILL ride alone. We decided to try it. My husband's horse, Tracy, ended up biting my daughter's horse, causing her horse to buck several times. We had to end the ride because my daughter was terrified and crying. The only thing the receptionist had to say when we explained what happened was "maybe next time." We will not go back.

Everyone there was so nice and I was pleased how well they treat their horses. I will go back again using another groupon......

Didn't know about this place at all until Groupon. It was a great ride with a very nice cowboy guide who really made the ride lots of fun. Would definitely go back again.
