- One 90-Minute Movement Class
Attend the Climbing Movement class (check website for current days/times offered). This course is about developing proper climbing technique and perfecting it. In a sense, the class is practice in how to practice. Beginner or experienced this low intensity skills based class will provide you with the too ls to elevate your climbing abilities to the next level. You are welcome to come early or stay late in order to warm up or work on the skills you will have learned. It is easier to learn the proper way right away instead of breaking bad habits down the road. At Summit, we treat climbing as a sport and climbers as athletes. This means it’s not just about following the route, but developing a mindset,learning and honing specific techniques and putting in the hard work and proper practice in preparation to perform when your number is called.That is Summit.

About A Chat with Summit Strength & Fitness
Owned by Keith Kubiesa "Coach Kubi" who has a personal training background and in 2012 obtained his CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) from the NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association). Currently the Head Coach for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Climbing team, Coach for the Madison Women's Climbers, assistant golf & strength coach for Edgewood high school boys golf, Head coach Tyrol basin snowboard team and Strength coach for team PBC racing (triathlon team). Coach Kubi has had clients qualify and compete at USA climbing Nationals, USA snowboarding Nationals as well as members of the high school 2x state golf champion team. Having been a collegiate athlete, coach Kubi draws on those experiences to work with clients to clarify goals, visualize them and build a road map toward achieving them. Strength training, mental awareness, recovery methods and nutrition are some of the tools and techniques I provide to help you get there.
