At Level 10 Fitness, trainers developed a philosophy around 10 principles—such as get out of your comfort zone, commit to your goals, and let go of programmed limitations—to transform the way clients view fitness and their own bodies. A lifelong fitness enthusiast, Meredith Miller opened the gym in the hopes of introducing newcomers to their own unimagined reserves of strength.
Fellow trainers hold collective experience studying exercise physiology at college, as well as training NFL and MLB athletes and playing "Carol of the Bells" on kettlebells. Daily Candy praised the workouts' innovative blend of exercises, writing that they "incorporat[e] computerized resistance machines with good, old-fashioned action like running tractor tires, pulling ship rope, and sprinting." Clientele includes Olympic gold-metal athletes, local volleyball teams, and out-of-shape treadmills.
