We are proud to bring you a dining experience that transports you straight to the streets of Tel Aviv or Jerusalem—right here in the heart of New York City. We’re not your ordinary eatery. Shawarma Shabazi is a labor of love from the team behind Talia’s Steakhouse & Bar, the premier glatt kosher restaurant on the Upper West Side. In response to the pandemic, inflation, and rising kosher meat costs, Talia’s repurposed its bar area into a fast-casual eatery—perfect for affordable takeout and born from our deep passion for authentic flavors and vibrant cultures. Shawarma Shabazi is ideal for catering and late-night dining. We’re open until 1:00 AM on weekdays, and on Saturdays, we open about an hour after sunset and stay open until 3:00 AM with live music. Indoor seating and charming sidewalk dining are both available.

The menu, which blends contemporary Manhattan offerings with Middle Eastern staples alongside the menu's more traditional steak, fish, and Middle Eastern favorites. Candlelight flickers atop white tablecloths to the beat of live mellow rock on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings, and french doors swing open onto a large sidewalk patio when weather permits.
