Whether you like your zombies lurching like in Romero's original Night of the Living Dead, or hurtling towards you with bloodshot eyes ala 28 Days Later, Zombie X Festival has something for you. Created by lovers of the undead for lovers of brain-chomping hijinks, the festival treats horror fans to an entire day of entrail-eating fun. Find out what to expect from this night of the living dead.
- The Music: A slate of terror-loving rockers unearth a spooky soundtrack, with a headlining performance from Michale Graves, formerly of the horrorpunk progenitors The Misfits.
- The Performers and action: Tribal Dance Long Island taunts zombies with belly dances, while Hoopsie Daisies ward off zombies with fire dances and Madame Reaper entrances them with her burlesque. In addition to contests and prizes for best zombie costumes, the fest features interactive experiences such as a Zombie Survival Training course, a thrilling game of Zombie Paintball Survival.
- The Movies: Writer/director Mark Allen Stuart screens a series of his gory short films, including Zombie, the alleged sequel Zombies, and Half Human, all featuring rocker/actor Michale Graves who joins the director for a Q&A session. After this session, a collection of other zombie short film submissions will also be screened.
- The Rest: The festival also features a beer garden and vendors galore.
