She is very professional and skilled. This was my second groupon purchase from this business. I plan to go without it again.

Lauren is a true artist! I would definitely recommend her and plan to go back even without a groupon!!

The nail salon is a one person salon, I thought that meant it would be a more personable experience. When I walked in, Lauren said no words at first, eventually asked if I was there for an appointment. If you own a business and someone walks in you should great them with a welcoming smile and attitude, not the case here. I can count the number of words she said to me on ten fingers during the hour long appointment (even when I was trying to make conversation). Although my nails look great, the service was terrible and I will not be returning. I definitely will not recommend this business to any of my friends either.

She was rude and acted like she was annoyed even doing my service. I waited 5 weeks for my appointment. I called set my appointment...saw that it was booked online in the confirmation email and thought I could move it up to an early time. Moved it up and she moved it back, so I looked on her website and it did say Groupon customers couldn't book online. Which was fine and it was my error. She didn't even attempt to be polite. My gel manicure did not cure properly and had indentions and smudges after I left. It was wasted money. I tipped $10 only because of the horrible service. Normally I would tip $20 and up. I try to get a mani/pedi every 3 weeks because I run. Never going back.

This person is not people friendly at all. She did not speak nor smile at me when I arrived. I thought something was wrong with her so I spoke to her and ask how she was doing and ask about her day. She acted as she didn't want to depart her lips. Usually this is a sign of everything else that could go wrong and it did. The other complaint I have is there were rough edges left on my toenails after she had filed them. This was discover after the polish dried. When I mentioned it to her that I had to wear stockings, she gave all kind of excuse but no solution or apology. She simply did not care. No customer service at all. She may want to consider another line of business because you nails are a up close and personal kind of business.

About this Business

Nail technician Lauren Scales loves beauty, but as a customer, she never found a salon she truly enjoyed. So she founded her own. Lauren’s first order of business? Build a place where customers can easily communicate their needs. Lauren was dissatisfied with the assembly-line-style pace she'd observed elsewhere because it made it nearly impossible to describe to the technician what you were looking for. At Graffiti Nail Bar, she makes sure to take the time to figure out what the client wants. This may be freehand nail-art portraits of Nikola Tesla, long-lasting gel or Shellac, patterned Minx designs, or simply a soothing mani-pedi made luxe by body butter. In fact, the butters, lotions, and soaps are all handmade by Lauren, are vegetable-based and free of synthetic oils, and are available for purchase in the in-house boutique that also offers earrings.
