We are completely disappointed with this event, our groupon stated this event started at 8:30PM. We arrived at exactly 8:30PM to a line that was completely around the entire building, We waited in line for approximately 40 minutes... arrived inside the venue at 9:10 PM.. given the fact that this event is called Eats and Beats we expected to eat. We made our way around the first floor we where able to get a small sample of wine and a can of RedBull each... fighting the crowd to the second floor we are now expecting to find some food... making our way around the 2nd floor vendors are packing up and are out of food, however we where able to get a donut from the Krispy Kreme vendor... again fighting our way through the crowd to the 3rd and 4th floors we found much of the same ... vendor that are out of food and already packing up to leave it's only 9:30PM at this time. It is my opinion that this event was over sold and vendors clearly didn't have enough food to support the attendees. Now we are on the 4th floor hungry and needing to use the restroom. To our surprise the only restrooms in this 4 story building is on the 1st floor, REALLY!

Waste of money on mediocre food. This event was oversold for the size if the venue.

I feel compelled to write to Groupon to let you know that I bought 2 tickets to this event for my fiance and I and the experience was godawful. Not only did the event end nearly 2 hours early (ALL the food and drink vendors were closed), but it was extremely crowded and I find this completely unacceptable. Clearly, too many tickets were sold. I noticed that over 400 of the tickets were purchased from Groupon alone. Regardless, if you are to partner with a specific Merchant, you would think that they would be prepared to accommodate all of the anticipated customers. Instead, however, I was there for merely 45 minutes before the event was rendered completely useless because they were no longer serving food or drink at several stations. This event specified it was to go until midnight, while around 10:20pm we left. I spent $118.00 (2 tickets) for approximately 4 small drinks and barely any food. Thank you.

Poorly organized event. Very little food given and way too many people. Stood in line for 30min and most good ran out by 1030 when event ended at midnight

From Our Editors

Eats & Beats opens up Miami's world of local food paired with premium sprits and music to the public in a more casual, festival setting. A collection of local DJs and bands will keep people partying well into the evening. Meanwhile, restaurants such as Red the Steakhouse, City Hall the Restaurant, and Brother Jimmy's Barbecue sling a huge variety of decadent eats to fuel al fresco dancing. Eat & Beats seamlessly brings together a unique blend of three worlds with some of the best food, spirits, and music that Miami has to offer. See a video of last year's event here.
