The menu at Carol's Cucina is a microcosm of owner Carolina Moura's childhood. The daughter of an Italian mother and Brazilian father, Carolina experienced a unique upbringing. With her breezy Miami cucina, she pays homage to her roots with a mixed menu of Brazilian and Italian specialties. Small, easy-to-share plates, including sandwiches and pizzas, dominate the menu. But large plates topple appetites, too, with offerings of braised short ribs and seared salmon. The cucina's bright ambiance only adds to visits, surrounding guests with clean, modern decor, exposed brick walls, and wood accents.
