At IL Tagliere, golden-yellow and red walls, exposed wooden rafters, delicate hanging lamps, and tables made from re-purposed wine barrels create a warm, rustic atmosphere. However, though the restaurant's decor helps to set the mood, fresh ingredients are its focus. The casual Italian eatery specializes in original interpretations of classic dishes, such as meat-and-cheese boards, bacon-wrapped shrimp, crusted snapper, and fresh handmade pasta dressed in four sauces and arranged in the shape of Leonardo da Vinci's face. At the brick-sided bar, the staff pours an array of international wines.
