We had the Fried Chicken...it was pretty good! The Mac & Cheese was good; but, the Mashed Potatoes were definitely instant (was expecting homemade). Not a great variety of sides or desserts; but, we were pretty satisfied with our meals. Service was great! Plan to visit again and try other items on the menu!

Clean restaurant and I must say Stassi's hospitality was an A+. She was friendly, helpful and gave us great customer service. There is a special menu for groupon purchases, which i wasnt thrilled with. However i ordered the fried chicken with mash potato and french fries (the only other option for sides were green beans), mac and cheese or crab rice was an additional $2.99. We also ordered smothered pork chops which comes with white rice (undercooked), sides (green beans, and mash potato). The chicken leg quarter was not good at all, no flavor what so ever and it wasnt battered like what the menu said. The mash potato was instant mash and the green beans were from a can. The porkchops was good, it was smothered but lacked flavor but it was tender. The cornbread was everything, absolutely delicious. Great service, not so good food. We diidnt finish our food, It just didnt taste southern to me. P.s. Hopefully from now on they would incorporate fresh ingredients.

From Our Editors

At Old Fashion Divine Cooking, the kitchen staff whips up lunch options such as ribs smothered in housemade sauce and pulled pork topped with homemade slaw. Like lunch, dinner starts early with early bird specials flanked by housemade sides of mashed potatoes and cornbread. Besides these hearty feasts and a selection of dessert, such as cheesecake, the restaurant also features selections that total 600 calories or fewer, such as chicken salad and grilled tilapia.
