Great service. Take out the hibachi menu and focus on good sushi. Or keep the hibachi, but include more. Not alacarte

We had a great waiter who tried to take care of every table on his own while his coworker was just chatting with some customers...

From Our Editors

Beneath the colorful toques on their heads, hibachi chefs flip and sauté meat and vegetables on their tabletop grills, smiling as they conjure the occasional bursts of flame during lively cooking routines. That’s just one scene at SooWoo Japanese Steakhouse—across the restaurant, sushi chefs slice ribbons of fish and vegetables and roll them into California and spicy tuna rolls. Basketball fans can celebrate the city’s 2012 NBA championship with the specialty Miami Heat roll, which includes slices of shrimp tempura, crab, and cream cheese. SooWoo also whips up Korean dishes, such as bulgogi and pork belly.

Miami Restaurant Guide

Nearly everyone knows Miami for its beaches, party atmosphere, and active nightlife. But, Miami's vibrant food scene should not be overlooked. This city has scads of restaurants, from tiny Cuban dives with only a few seats to four-star fusion restaurants with famous chefs.

Some of the best places to eat in Miami are the tiny little restaurants that few people notice or visit, simply because they do not realize that those darkened store fronts are restaurants. The Hole in the Wall Pub is one such restaurant, but the one thing about it that is not inconspicuous is its celebrity owner. Craig Erickson played for the Hurricanes, and he opened this restaurant as the type of place where his football-playing friends could watch a game and enjoy good grub at the same time. The dark woods, top-of-the-line televisions, and large arcade make it seem like someone's basement, but the quality food and service make it clear that this is one of the best restaurants around.

Dining in Miami with friends is easy thanks to restaurants like Josh's Deli. Chef Joshua Marcus decided that his restaurant needed a new image, which is why he reopened it under this name. Everything on the menu is homemade, and most of the menu choices remind guests of a traditional Jewish deli in New York City. Chef Marcus even offers homemade mustard for his mile-high sandwiches.

Eating in Miami is sometimes a special occasion, and few restaurants offer the elegant experience found at Bourbon Steak. Though it's best known for its wide selection of wines and aged steaks, it also offers some traditional Miami food, including fresh seafood. Some of the best dishes are comfort foods with a twist such as the macaroni and cheese with truffles.

Whether it's fresh seafood caught that morning, a quick sandwich, or comfort food like mom used to make, Miami restaurants offer some of the best food in the world.
