Our pilot was patient and let us get a feel for the controls. I really felt like I had flown.

This was an amazing ride, my son loved the experience. He wants to do it again with the other war plane. The only thing I was disappointed in was we started over 1.5 hours late.

The guy in charge was always making decisions on the safe side. Weather was an issue that day.

The flight itself was great - beautiful day, gorgeous scenery. The pilot, I think his name was Dave, was not very friendly. He was irritated because we had the groupon on a cell phone and not printed out. He didn't even introduce himself - he just came out of the backroom and asked where our groupon was. Maybe he was having a bad day. He appeared to know his stuff and appeared to be very safe. But his personality and customer skills were surprisingly abrupt and dry. My fiancé did get a chance to "fly" the plane for a minute or two, which consisted of the pilot allowing him to place one hand on the control stick. When my fiancé instinctively placed both hands on the control stick, the pilot scolded him and didn't explain why he could not do that. The flight itself was fun and worth the price if you an just enjoy yourselves despite the pilot being a bit of a jerk. If you just want to experience flying, this is a good groupon. But the pilot seemed annoyed that he had to take us up.
