Each time they enter Body in Balance Yoga and Pilates, students could find a different class in session. They might walk in to see a mat Pilates session or a Barre class. Whatever the class, students will always find an attentive instructor, whose yogic roots may have been forged through childhood interest or time spent twisting pretzels at a bakery for hours on end. No matter how they arrived at their practice, class leaders are eager to share their passion as they guide students through flexibility- and strength-boosting classes such as Barre. Pilates leads students through core-building strength routines on mats or specialized machines. Students can use one of the studio's mats for free during their first week, but afterward should bring their own or purchase a mat from the onsite retail shop.
