At this locally-owned neighborhood pizza and chicken shack, fresh ingredients and toppings are used to create a menu filled with a wide variety of choices including pizza, pasta, chicken, appetizers, salads, and desserts. The versatility in their menu allows them to fulfill the specific tastes of any customer, and their dedication to maintaining quality and personalized service keep diners returning for more.
Dozens of specialty pizzas: Boss' owner believes their pizza crust, made fresh daily and rolled out to order, is a "vessel to serve food, not just pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese," and as a result, you can order from a large selection of gourmet specialty pizzas including shrimp alfredo pizza, bacon mac 'n' cheese pizza, and breakfast pizza with eggs, bacon, and a choice of veggies.
Broasted, not fried, chicken: Unlike other restaurants, Boss' cooks its chicken in a pressurized fryer, not a traditional fryer. According to the owner, this helps seal in the juices. The hand-breaded chicken is also made to order instead of being kept in a warmer, ensuring hungry diners are getting the freshest meal possible.
Community involvement: The restaurant tries to give back to every community it's in by sponsoring youth, adult, and all-kitten sports teams. Local and longtime lifetime Twin Cities area resident, Owner Roger Helgeson looks for ways to help out the local community, with fundraising opportunities available for local organizations upon request.
