Great atmosphere wine and food
Nice, cozy place! The service was great! If you can't decide which wine you would like, they bring you samples to taste, so that you can decide. They offer appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and flatbreads. We had the cheese and meat board as an appetizer and the chicken croissant. Both were very good. We hope to get back there soon!
very nice place! I'll definitely be back
Too expensive, food isn't very good. We paid almost $60 for a 4 glasses of wine (and that doesn't include what I paid for the Groupon).
This is a wonderful place to go and sit and relax. I love sitting outside with the fire on the couches while drinking a glass of wine or IPA (depending on my mood). The menu has great food that is easy to share and pairs nicely with the drinks.
Service was good - menu was mostly sandwiches, wraps and salads but tasty.
In a shopping center in the corner of the area - small but cozy.
Great evening out! Everyone was so attentive to us!
Their jalapeño pimento cheese dip is awesome. It's a nice relaxed atmosphere, and very nicely decorated. Staff was friendly and helpful. My main entree wasn't very seasoned, but it was definitely a healthy choice as were most items on the menu.
They seemed to be understaffed and the service was pretty bad. I hate to write a not so great review because I like small businesses but service needs to be improved drastically. The food was unimpressive. I would go back for wine only because I do like the outdoor area. I wish it were a bit dimmer inside- it's a bit bright for a wine bar. Grapes in Matthews is better..

Local craft beer, global boutique wines, and a menu of gourmet sandwiches, salads, and flatbreads. Those three things are why more and more people are passing the hours at Vintner's Hill's long wooden bar, comfy leather couches, and outdoor patio. Well, those features and a lineup of special events that includes live music, sporting events, and special tastings. To keep things fresh, Vintner's Hill regularly rotates the beers and wines on tap, and its menu includes a charcuterie board with a daily selection of North Carolina meats and cheeses.
