A turo-turo (meaning "point-point") cafe, customers to Lutong Pinoy Filipino Cuisine can point at any of the rich foods on display and expect a heaping serving of it on their plates. That includes lumpia, the famous crispy rolls filled with chicken or pork, or smoky lechón (or roasted suckling pig) served with banana ketchup fried rice. Or, for instance, the signature sisig, a sizzling platter of fried chopped meats topped with an egg and special seasonings over rice and veggies. These sweet and savory meals are finally followed up with classic Filipino desserts, like halo-halo, a cold treat consisting of shaved ice, condensed milk, and the distinctive ube ice cream, made from the vibrant purple sweet yam.
