I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Burnt Exposure... so this is going to be a long review! My fiance and I had first seen Kris's work when we attended our friends wedding. I remembered how Kris and his team ran from here to there, getting every possible shot of the couple and every detail. When we first started our search for a wedding photographer, we had the extra challenge of planning our wedding in Temecula, California, while we lived miles away in Denver, Colorado. We had been referred to one photographer, and while planning a trip out to California, we tried and tried to get something scheduled for a meeting in person with this other photographer. We were kinda miffed that even though we had tried to book a meeting months in advance, that photographer wouldn't get back to us and after trying to connect several times, this person couldn't squeeze in an hour on a weeknight. We had to pack in as much planning as possible when we traveled to California, and we were worried about a setback. Then, I remembered our friend's wedding, and thought to look up their photographer. That's the first time I emailed Kris with Burnt Exposure. Within the hour, he had gotten back to me and we scheduled an in person meeting with him for a few days later. I was already impressed! We met with Kris and had a great first meeting. He went through the whole process with us, asked us questions, showed us some of his work, and made Ed and I feel very comfortable. We booked with him a few weeks later. After that, it was a breeze working with Kris. He answered all our questions over email in a timely manner, and never made us worry about a thing. He had questionnaires and other forms that could be easily filled out online to help him plan the day. We had a follow up call a week before our wedding to go over final details, and we were set! The day of the wedding, Kris and his amazing team (Brady and Heather) got so many amazing shots. They were all over us like paparazzi! But never did I feel at any point that we were taken away from the enjoyment of our day. On the day of, we had a blast with the team. They meshed well with our guests, just like they were part of our group of friends! We even got a shot with Kris at the end of the night, and it's one of our favorites from the day. We booked our photobooth through Kris as well, and the pictures came out great! So many funny shots! I loved the fact that it was a backdrop format, rather than a tiny booth, so even more people could join in and get a photo together! Less than a month later we received an online gallery of our photos. Not only are the raw photos fantastic... but the edited photos look amazing! Kris gave some of the pictures a little Photoshop love, and wow... I am in awe of the result! We also chose a package with a hardcover coffee table book, and we are excited to start selecting the photos for that. There's so many to choose from! We are ecstatic that we chose Kris as our photographer on our wedding day, because of the quality photos that we received, how responsive and easy Kris was to work with, but also because we were so happy to work with a talented and enthusiastic artist! Thank you Kris!!!

Kris was my number one choice when I was choosing a photographer for our wedding. I was a little hesitant at first to commit but I am so glad that I did. He was worth every penny that we paid. We went with the biggest package that he had to offer and it was a great deal. We had Kris shoot our engagements in a gorgeous field. We immediately connected with Kris and it was very easy and comfortable. We were able to get our double sided engagement shots (through Kris) that went in with our invites. And let me just say that our guests were raving. They were so different than the traditional glossy photos that are normally included in most invites. Our photo was artistic but still showed the loving connection that we wanted to convey. When it came time for our wedding day I knew that Kris would not disappoint. We had talked the day before about certain shots I wanted and the vision that I wanted in my photos. I had also filled out his survey which told him the different family shots we needed as well as some of the drama that had happening within our families. He was very understanding of the situations and knew not to have certain people in certain photos. Kris was amazing. Our wedding day was extremely hot and all we wanted to do was stay in the shade. He was able to work with the situation well and still be able to take beautiful shots regardless. For our off site location I mentioned I wanted the opposite of the beach, I wanted woodsy. I had a neat forest in mind and he was more than willing to give it a try. I was so worried that the lightening would be messed up from all the shadows but Kris did amazing. The pictures he took were unbelievable and to this day I still can't believe they are our wedding photos. They are perfection and I have never seen any like them. Due to the heat of the day we had about 1 1/2 hours of down time before our reception. And with that time Kris was able to edit some of our photos from earlier in the day and display them at our sign in table at the reception. I had no idea that he had planned to do this but I was so excited our guests were able to see how gorgeous our photos were. So many of our guests told us how unbelievable they were, and we completely agreed. Kris did an incredible job capturing our reception as well. He got all the details I had asked for and was everywhere he needed to be in order to grab every moment. Our guests loved Kris as well and felt like he interacted perfectly with everyone. Kris also meshed really well with our videographer and they made a dynamic team. After our wedding was over we were able to see all of our photos and pick out many of our favorites. We were able to order beautiful canvas prints (through Kris) that hang throughout our home. I love seeing these beautiful images that Kris captured. We were also able to put together our KISS album which was unbelievable. He had shown me a sample of one which was nice but it was a completely different experience opening a box to find a huge leather bound book filled with your favorite memories from the best day of you life. This was icing on the cake. I will cherish this book for a lifetime. It gives me butterflies every time I look at it. And not to mention that our mothers both have smaller copies that they carry in the purses just so they can share our wedding day with their friends. Kris has a way of creating beauty and showing a couples love through artistic and edgy photography. You will never get a boring or dull photograph from Kris. I feel so lucky that I found Kris to be our wedding photographer and looking back I don't know why I ever hesitated about making the decision. I would choose him every time.

"We couldn't have been more pleased with how our wedding turned out. I still remember the first time we stumbled upon BurntExposure and falling in love with the art years ago! We had a chance to meet Kris in person before we made a decision. He's very energetic, friendly and personable, also well versed in his craft. He gave us tips and suggestions for the BIG DAY and explained his role in relation to us. He was very professional and gave us time to sleep on the decision. We couldn't resist. He sent a helpful e-mail about things the bride and groom can do to avoid stress and to truly enjoy their wedding day. On the day of, we were introduced to his right hand man (Jason Stringfellow). He is just as jovial and charismatic! We had a blast with those two! There were a few special requests that we threw at Kris (such as do's and don'ts, good angles and bad angles, and even some must have photos). He was sensitive to our needs and met all our wishes. We are so pleased with their work and hope to use their services again! We Love Burnt Exposure and recommend them to all!"

We are seriously blown away by your talent Kris! THANK YOU so much again!! Can't wait to see the actual prints in person! So excited!! My mom also LOVES them. I think she probably stayed up all night looking at them because I woke up to about 15 text from her saying she changed her mind about which one was her favorite!

The man behind Burnt Exposure - the Kris Sundberg - is not just some other photographer. He seeks for originality with every couple, family and subject he shoots! He shot our engagement photos and did a shoot with us post wedding. (He was booked on our wedding day and I thought my life was over!) Both shoots he did with us were unbelievable! Hundreds of people (and I'm not exaggerating) ranted and raved over them! Kris brings a fresh flair to the photography world! He's a little rebellious behind the camera and the goods he delivers are undeniably different than your standard apple orchard with a bench or the same old beach shoot. He's constantly finding new places to shoot so that your pictures will be one of a kind and unique to you and your style. Bottom line: Hire Kris. You have plenty of other things to worry about, especially if you are planning a wedding!
