It wasn't a very scary hayride, but everyone was really nice and its a pretty farm. I think they could utilize the space better. Its a little hard to find and not very well lit. If we were just driving by, we would have had no idea there was anything seasonal occuring.

Waited about 2 hours in line to get on a hayride. Kind of ruined it for us.

Worst haunted attraction ever. Disorganized. Unprofessional actors. Nothing happened in beginning or end of hayride- all of the haunts were clumped in the middle. Haunted hay maze lacked the haunt- 2 kids were smoking outside & quickly put on masks after we entered. It only cost $5, but they should have paid us $5 to go through the painfully bad excuse of a haunted hay maze. Box office lacked knowledge of attractions when asked- told us there was only 1 haunted attraction besides the hayride & were rude when we questioned our purchase later. We were directed to the wrong attraction by several employees. No wonder nobody was there!

The only problem was not enough signs indicating where we were to go for the hayride. We walked around a bit wondering if we were in the right place.

We had fun last night at the Hayride. This was my kids first time. It was not really scary but just perfect for first timers. The hayride was longer compared to other Hayrides I have gone to in the past. I really enjoyed the fire pits they have set up all around where you can sit and relax after the Hayride and have hot chocolate or something to eat. I would go back again.

From Our Editors

Winding Brook Farm is austere even by the standards of farm time, a 208-acre Bucks County plot that has been farmed by four generations for more than 100 years. The farming is still in full swing, with 100 head of dairy cows milked twice a day and 600 acres worth of crops planted and harvested each year. The good earth gives rise to a bevy of produce, including corn, soybeans, and rye. Educational groups drop by to learn about the way of life, milking cows for themselves and learning about the seeds.

Though the farm is operational year-round, fall is when it is at its most active. Corn mazes send pictographic messages into the stratosphere, displaying stalk-carvings of cows and tractors for the benefit of travelers overhead. Come Halloween, the fields become infested with skeletons and madmen out to spook hay wagon riders.
