Sometimes a series of painful and unfortunate events can lead people to find their calling. For Danielle Minerva it began with psoriasis, and then neurological disturbances she developed after routine wisdom-teeth-removal surgery. Once she diagnosed herself with Epstein-Barr virus and started exploring ways to ease her discomfort, Danielle realized that her body had the potential to heal naturally. Her experiences with alternative medicine inspired her to help others by pursuing a license in Massage Therapy and a degree in Occupational Studies.
When clients come in with mental and physical complaints, Danielle treats them each individually, using her repertoire of alternative practices to reduce pain and tension with custom massages or Raindrop Therapy, during which essential oils drip along the spine and massaged in the feet using reflexology along with other massage techniques to bring the body into alignment, assist with inflammation, and imbue clients with an overall sense of well-being. She can work to assist clients with a range of maladies from stress to pain; detoxifying chinese-cupping sessions draw out impurities from the skin using the vacuum effect, which utilizes cups placed over clients’ areas of discomfort. Danielle also offers ear candeling designed to reduce ear-wax buildup and help with sinus issues and iconic detox foot bath sessions.
