In a way, Elizabeth Pandich—the head trainer at Limelight Farm—was always meant to spend her life around horses. Pandich’s two-decade career got off to an auspicious start on her family’s small private farm in Westchester, where, as a junior rider, she qualified for equitation finals such as the Hunter Seat Medal Finals, New England Equitation Finals, and ASPCA Maclay Regionals. After graduating from college and realizing that her diploma didn’t look nearly as nice as a ribbon clipped to a horse’s mane, she picked up right where she left off, winning prestigious shows such as the Devon Horse Show and Pennsylvania National Horse Show.
Today, Pandich shares her equine insights at her safe, amenity-rich farm. During lessons, she takes full advantage of the ground’s many amenitites, including a Grand Prix field, sand and grass riding rings, open fields, and an indoor arena with a heated viewing area. As pristine as it is prestigious, the farm has produced students that have gone on to win prizes in hunter, equitation, and jumper shows.
