Myrtle Beach, South Carolina: Sandy Beaches, Golf Courses, and Classic Amusement-Park Rides
Myrtle Beach is the crown jewel of South Carolina's Grand Strand, a 60-mile stretch of white-sand beaches along the Atlantic seaboard that draws surfers, fishers, and kayakers. The city was named one of the best vacation spots in the United States for a family by USA Today, in part because of its wooden boardwalk, which stretches for more than a mile. Hop into the SkyWheel’s gondolas, lit up at night, for a panoramic view of the city below from this iconic observation wheel.
Less than 20 miles south of Myrtle Beach, the tiny fishing village of Murrells Inlet provides a tranquil contrast to the boardwalk's hustle and bustle. At Brookgreen Gardens, more than 2,000 sculptures stand amid sprawling floral gardens and massive, moss-covered oak trees that have been around for centuries. Murrells Inlet is also home to the Tom Fazio–designed TPC Myrtle Beach golf course, 1 of nearly 80 courses in the area that helped Myrtle Beach earn its title as the seaside golf capital of the world.

Ok but not great The good - the resort is well located and easy access to restaurants and shopping. There are several pool options and right on the beach. Pools were nice and enough so that they weren't over crowded. Our condo (S. Tower 718) was well maintained and had everything we needed.
The bad - it is difficult to get in touch with anyone at the front desk. No one answers the phone - we left something behind and left messages and no one answers the phone or replies to the messages. When on property there was minimum amount of stafff at front desk or throughout the facility. There were serval hot tubs that were not working (which is fine) but were filled with sludgy water and debris - not nice to walk by. The common areas need some updating.

A great time I always have a great time here at Seawatch. This is our 3rd trip to this hotel. Polite staff, nice atmosphere, clean rooms, easy access to the beach, multiple pools indoor and outdoor, multiple hot tubs. Love the Tiki bar. I can not wait until our next trip.
