Great people, lots of fun. Greeted us with popcorn and served us warm cookies before we left. Very challenging room, but fun!

They take a known formula and add a unique twist. I enjoyed how they incorporated local history into the story.

The experience was fantastic. The hosts are super nice, attentive and engaging. We were received with popcorn and had a change to tour the house while waiting for the room. They have a bar and you can take your drinks and snacks inside the escape room. The room calls for 14 people and we thought it bight be too many. but it is not. It was 10 of us and we barely managed to escape. They said there is only 10% success rate and we can see why. There are a lot of puzzles that need to be solved in parallel. and they demand good coordination and several sub-teams working in parallel. There are some map puzzles, some numeric puzzles, and some word playing. I wont give much away, just know we had a blast. I been to Sterling and Alexandria rooms. I like this one a lot more because of the atmosphere, the historical references and the fantastic hosts. There is not as much high tech involved in this room but the adventure was engaging and entertaining. The location is beautiful and with a lot of history and the room design is shaped around this concept. At the end of the experience they congratulate us with freshly baked cookies; a very lovely detail. Highly recommended, make sure you bring a large group and have good communication and coordination. It is very easy to get lots given the large number of puzzles to solve the room.

The people running this event did a great job preparing us and the clues were very challenging. I highly recommend this event. They also served homemade cookies afterwards!

The staff was truly wonderful. I went to the wrong door, and they meet me on the wrong side to tell me I was at the right place but to meet them at the front. I thought that showed they really were paying attention and cared about the customers. I loved the historical relevance and the area the inn is located at. This escape room was fun, elaborate and I loved the theme. I would definitely recommend it!

This escape room had the best decor out of the many I've been to! I definitely recommend going with at least 3 people because there are a TON of locks!

From Our Editors

With innovative puzzles of varying difficulties and riddles that force participants to think outside the box and communicate, room-escape games are naturally great for team-building. But Escape Vint Hill takes the premise one step further. The result forces participants to not only race the clock, but make decisions that could affect the lives of millions. And the craziest part? The scenario is based upon a historic event.

  • The Cuban Missile Experience: Step into the tasteful shoes of President Kennedy and his Executive Committee in October of 1962. Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev has just placed nuclear missiles in Cuba and the world now stands on the brink of World War III. It's up to you, now, to not only prevent war, but to eliminate the nukes sitting just 90 miles off the Florida coast.
  • A Historic Site: The Inn at Vint Hill was formerly the command center of the military base that handled much of the espionage reconnaissance during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
  • Toast to Your Success: After (or during) your experience, make use of the bottle service and bar to calm your nerves and experience a taste of government life in the '60s.
