Tiki huts, tabletop aquariums, and plenty of bamboo accents give Shaka Burrito a distinct tropical feel. The chefs finish the experience by building from-scratch surf-inspired dishes from places around the world, including Hawaii, California, Ireland, South Africa, and Indonesia. The menu of entrees contains roasted salmon marinated in organic honey and Irish whiskey; grilled grass-fed steak marinate in Matcha green tea and thyme; and cinnamon-rubbed grilled steak. Handhelds, including burritos and Mahalo flatbread quesadillas, are flavored with pineapple, coconut, and vidalia onions. An expansive drink selection fills glasses with colorful concoctions, from classic mojitos to Tiger Juice infused with bourbon, valencia oranges, meyer lemons, and camu camu syrup. In addition to using locally sourced ingredients, Shaka Burrito further reduces its carbon footprint by using recycled and biodegradable packaging, tableware, and money.
