Shanti Yoga Shala is a holistic practice. Yoga works on strength and flexibility, as well as overall wellbeing. The practice cultivates happiness and peace. Mat Pilates works on core stability and strength. meditation calms the mind.
Nathalie Croix spent a decade on several trips to India to deepen her knowledge of yoga practice and it's birth place. She later lived and taught for many years in Los Angeles and learned and apprenticed from today's cutting edge yoga masters. Today, she and her fellow yoga teachers at Shanti teach vinyasa flow yoga, with a focus on alignment, safety, strength, and flexibility. The practice cultivates awareness: body, mind, and spirit. The studio welcomes students of all levels. Students will learn how to adapt the practice to suit their needs. The studio's root philosophy states: " We are, after all, teaching individuals." Yoga is a lifelong practice of Radical Acceptance.
