Limited menu. Small and quaint. Fish and fries were a little greasy but they were good none the less. Good place to go when you are in a pinch.

Food was mediocre and the service was not great.. we were the only 2 eating in the restaurant, they actually left us (went into the kitchen/outside area) and left us alone for 20-30 minutes... I was not impressed.

I loved the atmosphere/furnishings, and we took advantage of the big comfy couch in front of the tv. The food was great (I had the fish taco and classic poutine). It seems like the concept of really good quality fast food in a fun environment might just catch on!

From Our Editors

Swaths of red and black cover the multilevel ceiling and walls of Joey’s Urban, and matte canvas photos of Joey's food hang on the walls. Contemporary music plays on the speakers, and LCD screens display sporting contests above the heads of patrons consuming fried fish and tacos. Fish 'n' chip meals sear a quarter-pound piece of cod ($12) or halibut ($16) in a crisp, fried coating. The included natural-cut fries with sea salt can be upgraded to classic poutine for an extra $2 and smothered in gravy and cheese curds. Patrons can also select from five flavors of à la carte tacos including ahi tuna or mexi-chicken ($4.50).
