We were advised to arrive about ten minutes early. We actually showed up twenty minutes early. We were told that we could not go to the open, upper, viewing deck, because it was already full. We had to sit in the bottom floor cabin, totally enclosed, with minimal view. All the advertising showed the upper deck and a great view. Not once were we told that we might be stuck in a cabin with no view. We would not have bought the tickets. This is unfortunate, because the boat was beautiful and the staff were friendly. We wanted to jump over board and swim back to shore after 20 minutes. Misleading advertising, bad accommodations, bad food, bad speaker system, bad view. Total waste of time and money. Thanks, Tim Gregg

Delightful afternoon cruise with friends. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Learned a lot. Crew were very polite and helpful. Enjoyed the desserts and beverages. The bonus was being able to purchase our tickets through Groupon. Made it a very affordable experience. Would recommend it.

Loved the history provided of the area. Learned much. Service was good, friendly staff. I got to see close up what I have been driving past during the last 40 years. Will definitely be booking the Pitt River run in the near future. Encouragement: music was a bit too loud for us to talk to our friends.

The boat ride was very nice - the weather was great, the pace and the sights from the boat were fantastic as well. We planned ahead and were near the front of the line when boarding, which led to our party of 4 being able to sit at a table with a nice view. There were many passengers who either had to sit inside or stand outside w/o benefit of a chair or a table. The food choices were fairly good - we chose to share fries and nachos. The mixed drink options also seemed fairly good. Some in our party are self-described "beer snobs" and they were disappointed in the craft beer options. All-in-all, our party of 4 had a wonderful evening and we recommend this Groupon to others.

From Our Editors

Inside Paddlewheeler Riverboat Cruises' signature vessel, the MV Native, captains transport passengers 100 years back in time when scores of paddle wheelers churned through the rivers of British Columbia. Before the authentic vessel casts off into the Fraser River, the crew tailors each voyage to a different experience that treat passengers to off land DJ dance parties, views of local wildlife, and journeys to historic locales such as Fort Langley. Their boat also plays host to special occasions including weddings and private parties. Towering mountain ranges act as a backdrop for each tour, and the ship's white and gray exterior greets eyes with a classic design that echoes the Canadian flag flown on it's mast.
