When co-owners Shawn and Haley took over the Company Bar and Grill in 2013, they set out to give the place an inviting, friendly vibe, so it's no surprise they drew inspiration from the TV show Cheers. In fact, New York Magazine said the restaurant's staff helps "create the perfect formula for a cozy neighborhood bar." That pleasant, neighborhood feel keeps people coming back, but there are plenty of other perks, including seven HDTVs, which broadcast sports games including NFL's Sunday Ticket and Big 10 basketball games.
The menu doesn't take a backseat to the entertainment, though. Its loaded with hearty pub fare, from nachos made with homemade chips to boneless wings and a bevy of half-pound, handmade burgers. Patrons can also wash dinners down with a pint of Guinness or a rich oatmeal stout.
