for the groupon price is ok but once the car didnt come and the reservation process is not user firendly.

Took my reservations fine and without problem (no confirmation number, but a promise to call the night before). No call by 8pm of the evening before my first of three reservations. I called in and the man on the other end confirmed someone would be there. Then they were a no show and no one picked up the phone at their office--I tried calling for an hour. It took several days before I could get through to somone to cancel the remaining reservations. Extremely disappointed in this operation which clearly does not have its act together. I will not attempt to use them in the future.

The service was horrible. I made a reservation for pickup over one month in advance. They left me stranded at the airport and told me it would be hours until they could get me. They advised me to pay for a cab and call Groupon to get a refund.

It took 6 trips before I was able to use my groupon and I ended up using it for a trip to LGA. Driver, while very nice and interesting to talk to, took different route than I requested. I had to pay for the toll coming into the city, which I had never heard of before. Dissatisfied. Paid more than I would have without groupon.

I would not recommend this business. We had arranged everything and they did'nt pick us up at the airport, they didn't gave us a phone call nothing.

I had the worst experience with Encore Car & Limo Service. I tried to book a reservation with them three times. The first time I called them, they told me they couldn't accomodate my request because they needed 48 hours advance notice (which defeats the purpose of the flexibility of using a car service for transportation). The second time I called, I made a reservation (with more than 48 hours advance notice) and when I arrived at the airport, they never showed up. I called Encore and they told me I never made a reservation, even though I provided them with the date and time I called and the name of whom I spoke to (they don't provide confirmation e-mails...very unprofessional). They left me stranded at the airport and I had to get an expensive taxi. Then, two days later, someone from Encore calls me asking me where I am and that I'm late for my reservation. I told them I made a reservation with them for two days prior and they lost my reservation or made a mistake while setting up the reservation. They apologized but made no efforts to compensate me for my troubles, despite my asking. The third time I tried to make a reservation, I had just arrived at the airport and called Encore to tell them I landed and that the car should pick me up. They told me that they tried to contact me because they decided to cancel my reservation at the last minute. I told them they never tried to contact me, and they said they called me an hour ago (while I was on the plane!!!). I asked them how they expected to reach me an hour before the reservation time when I was in flight! I told them I would be contacting Groupon for a full refund, because they are unprofessional, sloppy and unfriendly. The manager is not focused on customer service, the staff is poorly trained and I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone. Groupon was gracious enough to provide me with a full refund, but I will never use Encore and never recommend them to anyone. I would advise Groupon to never do business with them again if they would like to continue customer satisfaction.

The car I booked didn't show up : I had to go out and hail a cab. I got my Groupon refunded, but I wouldn't trust the service again.
