Good class but you get penalized if you can't show up for a class. I literally couldn't show because my job called me last minute and I understand they need the slot open for other people but I had no control over that.

I could not feel fun from this class but the teaching method is not suitable for everyone and there is no announcement about that for. You will hate hiphop after the class. just went once. bad experience!

Horrible experience. Limited time of use, limited schedule. They never answer calls and booking is not convenient and flexible. Sucks

THE UPSIDE: Brandon (the teacher) is personable and friendly. THE DOWNSIDE: Too crowded, too hot. There were 80 participants with no AC! We were in lines, so I could only see what Brandon was doing during the 10 minutes when my line was in the front. I give him credit for walking around the room and trying to help the dance students, but there were just too many of us.

The classes run once a week, but it's a 4-week "program" that begins on the first week of the month. You're free to drop in whenever you'd like (IIRC), but starting the Groupon at the beginning of the month will be the best way to go! Loved the classes. Great energy from the instructor and the students. Crowded, especially on the first week, but it's not unbearable!

It was too big a class and hard to follow the moves.

Best class ever. I run out of work just to get to this class every Wednesday.

The class is too crowded and though Brandon is a great teacher, he let new people into the class each session prohibiting the returning students to learn a complete routine.

From Our Editors

Breaking, locking, and popping—these terms may sound like they've been lifted from a locksmithing glossary, but they're actually some of the most recognizable moves in hip-hop dance. At Hip Hop Dance Junkies, students incorporate these and other steps into choreographed routines they learn over the course of several class sessions. Designed for those completely new to the style, the classes instill discipline while building core strength. It's no coincidence that these are the same qualities that B.R.&.O.N, the instructor and founder of Hip Hop Dance Junkies, cultivated while studying under Mia Michaels of So You Think You Can Dance. B.R.&.O.N, otherwise known as Brandon, has been dancing since a very young age and earned his degree from the Professional Performing Arts School. With a talented rotation of instructors, including Rika, Electra, and Fiction, the studio guides new and seasoned dancers into new styles and routines.
