Halle Clarke began her career as a modern dancer. Her passion for dance soon spawned an interest in the mechanics of muscle coordination, leading her to explore the Pilates Method. To share her findings with others, she opened Mongoose Bodyworks. Here, she and her staff of certified Pilates Method instructors motivate students to improve their flexibility, posture, and strength in one-on-one or small-group Pilates classes. Depending on participants' goals, the lessons can feature either therapeutic or athletic moves, but each session engages the core muscles more safely than standing in front of a firing cannon. All of the instructors boast experience in Pilates-related kinetic disciplines, which they draw on during services such as myofascial release, post-natal body training, and post-injury rehabilitation.
