Jaye's love and passion for wine was incredibly contagious. I dont like most white wine classes but ended up loving it after taking this class!
Highly recommend the classes!
It was a wonderful experience. Very educational and fun.
Awesome way to learn about wine! Instructors were very passionate and knowledgeable.
It was great and really fun!
The "pairings" with the wines were scant and the preparer/server did not wear gloves while dicing up the crumbs of chees.
I learned so much and had great wine. I highly recommend it and will definitely be going back!
The new location is on the fifth floor and you must walk up. There is an elevator, but no one was told they could use it, and it seemed to be available only as an emergency backup. They should indicate this in the description.
It was great! Jaye knew so much about wine, it was really interesting to listen and learn from her. Would definitely go again. But wear a sweater because its chilly in the room!
Great service - owner clearly loved what she does. Will prob go back.
From Our Editors
Jaye, the founder of Proud Wineaux, can determine a left-bank from a right-bank wine from Bordeaux simply by tasting it. Her cultivated palate derived from more than a decade of working at some of the best restaurants in the world like the two-Michelin-starred Jean-Georges, The Mansion on Turtle Creek, and several other NYC hot spots.
Her one-on-one and group wine teaching program has helped thousands explore the world of wine in a friendly environment free of pretension. "The moment you release the fear of not knowing, the learning begins. There is a huge difference between drinking and tasting. We are excited to bring that difference to life!" she says. Jaye and her staff have integrated these teaching and pairing techniques into their unique and exciting wine events.
