Your food preparation is excellent; I enjoyed my dinner immensely. I was alone and reading at a well lit table when someone turned down the lights. Locating another table for me w/good light and transferring everything from my first table became a bit of a chore... it should not have been so difficult. It was very early in evening, long before dinner rush. But I've already recommended Shalezeh for the exceptional quality of food.

We went for lunch. Several menu items were unavailable. It took so long to get our food that we had to get it wrapped up to go, because we didn't have time to eat it. We were still waiting for our entrees about 50 minutes after we had ordered them, and about 25 minutes after our appetizers had been cleared away. We had been planning to get coffee and desert after, but didn't have time for this; we were only able to spend $40 of a $50 Groupon because they took so long. While we were eating our appetizer, it appeared as if the staff was preparing the restaurant for either the dinner shift, or for some private event. In any case, rather than have a relaxing dining experience, there was noise and chaos all around us, as people moved tables and chairs and shouted instructions to each other across the restaurant. We frequently couldn't hear what each other was saying because it was so noisy. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and one that would not lead me to return to the restaurant or to recommend it to anyone else.
