Seafood fried rice would have been a favorite if it had a little bit more seasoning. Staff was friendly but service needs to be improved. Courses should be served in order. Dishes should be cleared. If these were fixed, our dinner would have been excellent. The food was superb. The dining room and restrooms were very clean. The staff had good personalities. I really liked the place and plan to return.

Called and asked the girl if we would need reservations. This was 4 hours before we arrived. She said yes. We got there, at 6:30 pm, and were the only ones there and no one else showed up the entire time we were there. The food was very good and plenty of it, more than we could eat.

From Our Editors

Shogun Palace is aptly named. Its lounge area—the upstairs portion of the 80,000-square-foot restaurant—is decorated in rich red and gold hues, and giant oil paintings hang on the walls and over an ornate fireplace. The ceilings feature oversized murals illuminated by the chandeliers suspended just below. The palatial downstairs dining area is awash in blue and red lights, which emanate from glowing oversized balls of light that dangle from the lofted ceiling and resemble paper lanterns.

Even the food is fit for a king—live lobsters and whole crabs join the ample seafood offerings, including oysters, steamed mussels, clams, and grilled shrimp. The menu also tempts taste buds with various sushi rolls and Japanese favorites such as bento boxes and teriyaki and tempura dishes.
