Cruising the waters of Newport Beach Harbor since 1997, the Kayla Lynne has played host to all manner of events: weddings, birthday parties, surprise engagements, corporate galas, casual sunset watching. The key to the 75-foot craft's staying power is its luxury accommodations, maintained for year-round excursions by Newport Yacht Rental.
The open-to-the-elements flybridge is where the captain mans his wheel, but it's not all business. Stylish deck seating provides ample space for sightseeing or lounging. Just a few steps away is a surprising large area that's easily turned into a floating dance floor thanks to a boat-wide entertainment system complete with satellite radio.
Sun worshippers might take to the bow, but the main attractions are inside this enclosed deck. There's a bar that, depending on the cruise or charter, comes fully stocked or just ready to keep guests' BYO drinks chilled. Beyond that is another space primed for dancing or, with the addition of some cushy couches, a conversation salon. Equipped with a gas stove, the galley can be used for catering or cooking on the high seas.
