While other gourmet offerings may market themselves as "chef inspired," Fatty & Skinny's hot sauces and salsas go one step farther—they're actually created by a chef. Chef David Cook and owner of the Zagat-rated Daveed's Restaurant, to be exact. Along with his childhood friend Jeff Burlson, he creates hot sauces in surprising flavor combinations such as pineapple black bean salsa. He pours fresh veggies, herbs, and spices, most of which he grows in his own garden, into his concoctions, and dares tastebuds to feast on ghost peppers in the Inferno XXX.
