Although the nearby waterfalls get all of the attention around Niagara Falls, the real action takes place a few blocks away and a few dozen feet in the air. At Niagara Falls Adventure Park, brave guests can defy gravity (and their own fears) with aerial activities suitable for kids as young as 7. Read on to learn more about this exhilarating way to experience Niagara Falls:
- Ziplines: Once you climb the hill, there's only one way down. After the park's conscientious staffers strap you securely into a safety harness and helmet, they send you screaming down 350 feet of zipline at speeds of up to 30 miles per hour. The dual ziplines let you race against a friend or teddy-bear companion.
- Ropes Course: A series of platforms, bridges, and ropes hangs suspended in the air above the park, waiting to see if you have the mettle needed to cross its 800-foot expanse. Lending you courage is a sturdy harness and an auto-belay system that keeps things extra safe.
- Jump-Off Zone: If you've ever wondered what it's like to fly, you can finally find out at the Jump-Off Zone. After climbing to the top of the park's hill and securing your safety harness, you take a leap of faith, free-falling over five stories before landing safely on the ground below.
